Reflections

The warm gulf waters tickle my feet
dreaming of other lands
Other worlds where friends
have come and go
Does the past ever feel me,
can you all ever see me
searching for postcards
in the sand
Life constantly renewing itself
from hurricane forces
pain and anger subsided
love has reached me
rejuvinating my soul
Pain always came from love lost,
human error, and misunderstandings
Friendships waned but never lost
Found in the reflection of the sun
off the clear blue waters
that now lay sound in
the Gulf of Mexico

That was so neat to hear this morning. It is a good thing to have someone in your life to bring to thoughts about or to even repeat them. Best of wishes headed your way.

Dear Elizabeth,
That was very nice.So very true.

Reminds me of what is going on in my own life now. For several years, 3 of my friends and myself met every week for lunch. We shared laughs, tears and life together. We stopped our lunches some time back, schedule changes and life stuff.

Today, we met again for lunch. One of my friends is now dying of brain cancer. So today, we cried, we laughed and shared life again. Love comes in all shapes and forms.

Dear Rita,
I am so sorry about your friend. It is sad how life's demands get in the way of our friendships. And even more sad, how so many times we take our friends for granted and they us. Makes you think.
Love,
Ginny

Elizabeth,
Please let us know that you are ok after the storm. I know this is not a gigantic storm but it is dangerous. Give us an update when you can.

Take care, rita

We are fine here on the beach. Just lots of rain. Actually kinda cool looking out on the rough waters. The Sun is out today, and life goes on.

It is good to hear that you all are well. The storm, rain and the sun, what a beautiful scene that must be, were there any rainbows that followed?. As busy as you must be always make time to view the outdoors and nature, I love outdoors and wishing I could be there to take all of that in. Maybe minus the storm maybe, anyway take care

My cousin's son and his wife and dog live in Naples-house is OK, a few branches down, but the street is a river with fish and crabs in it-so far no gators-

I am glad to hear that you are doing well, considering the circumstances.
And I am finally withdraw some of you to read and yet so I hope some of you might read perhaps even once in book form.

The written word is so close to the heart.
